League Descriptions |
Curling League schedule will be posted at a later date depending on the projected construction completion date. No leagues will be held prior to January 2014.
Rookie: League participants consist of curlers of all ages with less than three years of curling experience. It's an ideal league for those who want to learn more about strategy, etiquette, and game play. We do allow teams to have one member with more that three years of experience in order to accelerate the learning curve for everyone. This is often the league new Learn To Curl entrants step into upon course completion. We do invite more experienced curlers to sign up and be assigned to a team that is looking for another person to round out the roster and help new curlers learn. Membership required.
We typically recommend participating in our Learn To Curl class prior to signing up for a Rookie League.
Open: A more competitive league open to curlers of all ages. This league will have participants that have more than three years of curling experience, either at the Denver Curling Club, or elsewhere. Membership is required.
Junior: Open to athletes ages 13-18 who would like a league set up geared towards learning and fun with like-aged competition.
